Summer Activities

North Star Nature Preserve is located about 2 miles southeast of downtown Aspen, making it easily accessible by bike, car, or commercial shuttle. However, visitors should note that parking is limited.

Hours and Access

The preserve is open from dawn to dusk, and access is free of charge. A number of watercraft operators, some of which provide shuttle services to drop-off and pick-up points, operate within the preserve.
