You can climb the Absecon Lighthouse's 228 steps for an excellent view of your surroundings. Located at the northern end of the city, this lighthouse is a prominent landmark. Standing 171 feet high, it is the tallest lighthouse in New Jersey and one of the highest in the United States. Built in 1857, its distinctive black-and-white structure is visible from much of the strip. According to recent visitors, the panoramic views from the top are a significant highlights of visiting the lighthouse.

Events and Admission
The Absecon Lighthouse frequently hosts art exhibits, shows, and festivals. Admission to climb to the top is $7 for adults and $4 for children aged 4 to 12.
