The best way to immerse yourself in Bar Harbor's beautiful scenery is by exploring the town's 1.4-mile Shore Path. Although it's not exactly a hiking trail, the Shore Path is a leisurely, level pathway that edges the harbor and Frenchman Bay.

Starting Point: Agamont Park

Your journey begins at the scenic Agamont Park, located adjacent to the town pier where whale-watching tours often depart. As you meander down the path, you will encounter the Town Beach, a small shoreline perfect for a quick dip in Maine's rich blue waters.

Notable Stops Along the Shore Path

Beautiful Island Views
