Stretching slightly more than 2 miles from the Green Bridge to the Manatee River Bridge, the Bradenton Riverwalk lines the central area of Bradenton's riverfront. Major city landmarks like the Bishop Museum of Science and Nature and Manatee Memorial Hospital are instantly accessible from this paved multiuse pathway.

Activities and Attractions

At the Bradenton Riverwalk, youth congregate at the skate park, splash pad, and playground, while adults often fish, play beach volleyball, and admire the views of the Manatee River. The Bradenton Riverwalk Pavilion hosts occasional events like live music, though many people also frequent the Riverwalk daily to exercise or walk their dogs.

Visitor Concerns

Some recent traveler concerns echo those from prior years, specifically regarding a lack of respect shown by a few, but impactful, visitors. One common example is the lack of cleanliness in key areas like the children's splash pad. Despite this, most people who visit the Riverwalk for a quick stroll are generally pleased with the views and community events.

Accessibility

The Bradenton Riverwalk is accessible from most points of downtown, including the Manatee Performing Arts Center. Most visitors park nearby; however, it's also accessible via multiple bus routes, the Gulf Islands Ferry, and the Green Bridge.

Hours & Admission

Unlike many of the city's parks, the Bradenton Riverwalk is open 24 hours a day throughout the year. However, the splash pad is open daily from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. There is no charge to access the Bradenton Riverwalk or use its amenities.
