Enjoy Exciting Water Activities at Shark Wake Park

This outdoor adventure park offers numerous ways to have fun on the water. You just need to choose what suits you best.

Wakeboarding for All Skill Levels

For those interested in wakeboarding, Shark Wake Park features a state-of-the-art cable pulley system that picks up ropes from the starting dock and pulls skiers in a large circle around the lake. This wake park caters to all skill levels and ages, from beginners to pros who want to tackle the ramps and rails spread throughout the lake. Whether you want to learn wakeboarding, kneeboarding, water skiing, wakeskating, or foil boarding, there's something for everyone. The crew at the wake park receive high praise from past visitors for their patience and helpfulness.

Obstacle Island: A Giant Floating Playground

If climbing, jumping, diving, and splashing are more your speed, the park's Obstacle Island is perfect for you. Located on an adjoining lake, this massive floating island resembles a giant playground, featuring towers, swing ropes, slides, monkey bars, platforms, and more obstacles. Life jackets are provided, but consider bringing water shoes for better grip and less slipping.

Relax at Shark Shak

If you'd rather watch the action or need a break from your water adventures, take a seat at the shaded outdoor Shark Shak. It serves beer, wine, snacks, cold drinks, ice cream, and cold brew coffee on tap. You can enjoy your refreshments while taking in the 360-degree views of the lake.

Location

Shark Wake Park is situated at the North Myrtle Beach Sports Complex, about 20 miles east of Myrtle Beach. The park is best reached by car.

Hours of Operation

Shark Wake Park operates seasonally. From June to August, it is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. In May and September, it is only open on weekends from noon to 5 p.m.

Ticket Information

Pricing depends on which area of the park you want to access: Cable Park or Obstacle Island. A session on Obstacle Island starts at $30 per person, while two hours at the Cable Park begins at $40. An "all-access pass," which includes two sessions on Obstacle Island and two hours at the Cable Park, starts at $65.

Note: Participants must be at least 7 years old for Obstacle Island and 10 years old for the Cable Park. Life jackets are provided, but all participants must know how to swim. For more details, visit the Shark Wake Park website.
