The St. Charles Streetcar line operates 24 hours a day. The 6-mile-long route begins in Uptown at Carondelet at Canal Street, though you can board at any point along the route. The entire ride takes about 45 minutes.
Fare Information
A ride costs $1.25 each way, and you are welcome to stay on from beginning to end. For those wanting to hop on and off, purchasing a Jazzy Pass, also known as a day pass, is advisable. The passes cost $3 for one day, $8 for three days, and $15 for a week. These passes are valid for all public transit in the city.
