The amusement park sits along the boardwalk between 10th Street and 11th Street. Playland's Castaway Cove amusement park welcomes visitors daily from late March through early October, usually from 6 to 11 p.m. during the summer. The park is free to enter but requires between two and 14 tickets per ride. The arcade is open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Tickets cost $1 for an individual ticket, $38 for 50 tickets, $65 for 90 tickets, $85 for 130 tickets and $130 for 220 tickets. Like most businesses in Ocean City, Playland's Castaway Cove operates seasonally, typically opening in the spring and closing in the fall.
