Seattle Art Museum: A Hub of Artistic Excellence
Spread across three locations, the Seattle Art Museum (SAM) houses one of America's premier art collections. Among its more than 25,000 pieces, the museum displays a variety of artworks ranging from European masterpieces to contemporary sculptures. Additionally, the Seattle Asian Art Museum and the Olympic Sculpture Park are integral components of this complex.
Art Collection Highlights
Despite some mixed reviews from recent visitors regarding its size, many appreciated the eclectic collection and recommended dedicating a few hours to explore. Visitors particularly admired the permanent collection of African art and the displays by Northwest Coast Native American artists.
