The oceanfront Red Reef Park occupies nearly 40 acres on one of Florida's most scenic highways, State Road A1A. This park provides a variety of recreational activities including swimming, snorkeling, and surf fishing. Additionally, visitors can enjoy the Red Reef Family Golf Course and the Gumbo Limbo Nature Center, as well as the extensive picnic facilities.

Safety and Lifeguards

A major advantage for families is the presence of lifeguards. They patrol the beach year-round from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., extending until 6:30 p.m. during daylight saving time.

Entry Fees

While there is no admission fee, a vehicle entry fee is charged. The cost is $35 on weekdays and $50 on weekends and holidays for visitors without a beach permit.

Many recent visitors recommend utilizing the metered parking available across the street from the park to save money. Metered parking has a four-hour limit and costs $3 per hour, but keep in mind that spots can be limited.
