With more than 15 exhibits spanning four floors, History Colorado Center offers a deep dive into the history of the Centennial State and the broader American West. Key exhibits include:

• "Living West" - Highlighting the Rocky Mountains and the impact of Colorado wildfires.
• "Zoom In: The Centennial State in 100 Objects" - Featuring notable historical items, such as native Coloradan Jack Swigert's Apollo 13 flight suit.

Interactive Experiences

Visitors can engage in activities at the History Colorado Makerspace at no additional charge. The museum also hosts various events, including the "Bold Women. Change History." speaker series and "Stories Through Food," where attendees can savor Colorado's unique flavors. Additionally, there's a cafe and a gift shop available on-site.

Getting to History Colorado Center

Located in the Capitol Hill area of downtown Denver, History Colorado Center provides convenient access to covered parking at the Art Garage (1200 Lincoln St.). Please note that the covered lot adjacent to the museum is not available for parking. Metered street parking and other surface lots are also available in the vicinity.

Hours and Pricing

History Colorado Center operates daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission costs $15 for adults, while children and History Colorado members enjoy free access. Membership benefits include unlimited entry to all eight History Colorado museums across the state and annual tickets to the Georgetown Loop Railroad.
