Wonderscope: A Place for Kids to Explore and Learn
Wonderscope is a fun place for kids to explore and learn through play. With a focus on STEAM – science, technology, engineering, arts, and math – it offers 30,000 square feet of indoor exhibits and a half-acre of outdoor play areas.
Indoor Exhibits
In the "Crossroads of Past and Future" exhibit, children explore transportation modes that shaped Kansas City. The "WaterWorks" exhibit features interactive water play inspired by Kansas City's iconic fountains and rivers. Kids can role-play as chefs and servers in the "Kansas City Café."
Outdoor Play Areas
Outside, kids can navigate a maze and explore a fully accessible treehouse. The outdoor area also includes tricycles, play structures, and a sandbox, offering plenty of ways for little ones to burn off energy.
Parental Feedback

The clean bathrooms and helpful, friendly staff contribute to its warm and welcoming atmosphere. Despite often being bustling with excited children, many say the vibrant atmosphere is part of what makes it a fun and engaging experience.
