Introduction to Princeville Botanical Gardens
Princeville Botanical Gardens began as a passion project of Bill and Lucinda Robertson, who have been cultivating former cattle land and reintroducing native flora since 2004. By 2010, they opened their gardens to the public for exclusive small private tours. Located on the island's North Shore, this attraction boasts hundreds of plant species, including rare and endangered flowers, fruit trees, and plants with medicinal properties. The gardens feature both native plants and flora from around the world and also produce honey from on-site beehives as well as organic chocolate.
Visitor Experience
The vast variety of plants continually impresses visitors, who often describe the gardens as very beautiful and the tours as both educational and entertaining. The guides receive high praise for their professionalism and insightful commentary. Additionally, the food samples provided during the tour are greatly appreciated by visitors.
