North Cheyenne Cañon Park, located about 5 miles southwest of town, encompasses over 1,600 acres at the base of a 1,000-foot-deep canyon. The park is open every day from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. from November 1 to April 30, and it remains open an hour later, until 10 p.m., from May 1 to October 31.

The Starsmore Visitor and Nature Center operates daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. during the summer. From the spring through fall, and during winter, the center is open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Center Hours
The Helen Hunt Falls Visitor Center is accessible only from Memorial Day to Labor Day, and its hours are 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to both centers is free.
