Introduction

Las Vegas knows how to go big – especially when it comes to entertainment. So, it should come as no surprise that a performance company like Cirque du Soleil thrives here. Translating to "Circus of the Sun," Cirque du Soleil is renowned for its incredible acrobatic feats performed with an unrivaled level of artistry. There are five different Cirque shows in Las Vegas, all hosted at various casinos along the Strip.

Popular Cirque du Soleil Shows in Las Vegas

"O"

Located at the Bellagio, "O" showcases synchronized swimmers and divers performing in, on, and above the water.

Michael Jackson ONE

Held at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino, "Michael Jackson ONE" incorporates some of the icon's most famous music and dance moves into Cirque's signature acrobatics and trampoline performances.

Mystère

You can experience the original Las Vegas Cirque du Soleil show, "Mystère," at Treasure Island. Expect aerialists and acrobats, balancing acts and stilt walkers, gymnasts and trapeze artists, puppetry, and Japanese taiko drumming.

While other Cirque shows in Vegas follow a general theme, "KÀ" narrates a cohesive story about twin siblings who must overcome a series of perilous obstacles to escape their shared enemy.

Mad Apple

A tribute to New York City, "Mad Apple" incorporates live music, dance, comedy, and magic to pay homage to the Big Apple. This show is held at the New York-New York Hotel and Casino. Note that "Mad Apple" is the only Cirque show in Las Vegas not considered "family-friendly," making it best suited for adults.

Additional Information

Most Cirque du Soleil shows can be enjoyed by viewers of all ages, although kids younger than 10 may not be able to sit through the entire show. Run times typically range from 80 to 90 minutes. Ticket prices vary by show, day, and venue, with most starting at around $80 per person. Fans generally find the prices to be worth it, frequently raving about the artistry of the performances.
