Overview of Paramount Pictures Studios
Since 1912, Paramount Pictures Studios has showcased the talents of film's all-time heavyweights, including Mae West, Alfred Hitchcock, Eddie Murphy, and Meryl Streep. This notable site has been home to everything from classic television shows like "I Love Lucy" to modern favorites like "Glee" and box-office hits such as "Mission: Impossible" and "Titanic." Currently, Paramount Pictures stands as the only remaining film studio in the Hollywood area.
Touring the Studio
Experience
For an authentic Hollywood experience, you should set aside some time to tour the grounds. The 2-hour studio tour, guided by an expert, takes you around the site's 65 acres in a golf cart. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to hop off and explore sound stages and recognizable studio sets from many current TV shows and movies. Previous visitors have praised the friendly and knowledgeable tour guides, although some felt that tours offered at Warner Bros. Studio were better.
Restrictions
It's important to note that the tours have age restrictions. Both the Studio and VIP tours allow visitors aged 10 and older.
Nearby Attractions
A trip to Paramount Pictures Studios pairs well with a visit to the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, as the attraction is located just south of the cemetery.

Standard tours are offered every half hour from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
