Introduction to Moab Giants
Visitors arriving in Moab from the north cannot miss Moab Giants – several life-size dinosaur statues positioned prominently at the busy junction of U.S. Highways 313 and 191. This attraction features over 100 dinosaur statues along a half-mile trail. The museum offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits, where guests can follow in the footprints of large dinosaurs, watch a 3D film about early history, and even uncover dinosaur bones from the sand like a paleontologist.
Family-Friendly Attraction
Previous visitors highly recommend the museum for families with younger children. They also suggest checking out some of the intact dinosaur footprints around Moab afterwards, such as those at Mill Canyon or Poison Spider.
Logistics and Accessibility
Moab Giants is located 11.5 miles north of town, thus visitors will need their own vehicle to reach the museum. The site offers parking for larger vehicles and is wheelchair accessible.
Hours of Operation
The museum is generally open from Thursday to Tuesday, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. However, hours may vary in the winter, so it's advisable to check the Moab Giants website before planning your visit.
Admission Tickets
Single admission tickets are priced at $18 per person. A family ticket, which includes two adults and two or three children aged 4 to 15, costs $60.
