Napa's Hidden Gem: The di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art
Some call it Napa's hidden gem or its best-kept secret, others might call it a beautiful assortment of the bizarre. Either way, the di Rosa Center for Contemporary Art is an impressive outdoor sculpture garden in California wine country. Approximately 1,600 works from more than 900 artists are scattered across 217 gorgeous acres, including two buildings that house large galleries open to the public: Gallery 1 and Gallery 2.
Sculpture Meadow and Outdoor Spaces
The property also features a sculpture meadow, courtyard, and olive grove, which are outdoor spaces visitors can explore. There is also a residence that is open for select events. Travelers find that a visit to di Rosa is an ideal break from the multitude of winery tours.
Eclectic Art and Scenery
Even if you're not particularly into art, you'll still enjoy strolling the premises and taking in the beautiful scenery, including a serene lake. Visitors say the garden is filled with eccentric and interesting pieces, commenting particularly on the house filled with artifacts from different time periods. Many also recommend taking a guided tour to gain a deeper understanding of the various pieces and to see more of the grounds.
