Jackson Square is a National Historical Landmark situated in the heart of the French Quarter. Located on Decatur Street between the Jax Brewery shopping mall and the French Market, the square spans over 2 acres and welcomes more than 2 million visitors annually. The square's name is derived from the bronze statue of Andrew Jackson that graces its center.
