Crocker Art Museum

Introduction

Boasting more than 25,000 pieces of art, the Crocker Art Museum is a cornerstone of Sacramento's history and a highly-rated art destination. Originally established in 1885 as a home and art gallery for the Crocker family, it is recognized as the oldest art museum in the Western United States. In 2010, the museum expanded its exhibition and gallery space with the addition of the 125,000-square-foot Teel Family Pavilion.

The Crocker Art Museum, located near the Sacramento River just south of Old Sacramento, operates from Wednesday through Sunday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Thursdays, the museum extends its hours until 9 p.m.

Admission Fees

General admission is priced at $15 for adults, $10 for students and seniors, and $8 for children aged 6 to 17. Admission is free for children aged 5 and under.
