Introduction to O'o Farm

Over two decades ago, two friends with a passion for surfing ventured into farming. They acquired a piece of land with fruit trees and coffee plants, which has since grown into the 8.5-acre O'o Farm. This farm now supplies produce to several farm-to-table restaurants in the area. Visitors who are enthusiasts of agritourism, coffee, or simply curious about Maui's agriculture can book a tour of the farm.

Tour Experiences

Morning Coffee Tour

The first tour of the day begins with a cup of locally grown and roasted coffee. This is followed by a tour that delves into the bean-to-cup coffee process. Visitors gain insight into how coffee is cultivated and processed at the farm.

Lunch Tour

Following the morning coffee tour, the lunch tour explores the growing fields while educating guests about the unique climate of Maui's Upcountry region. On clear days, the farm offers breathtaking bicoastal views from its 3,500-foot elevation. Visitors will see a variety of vegetables, leafy greens, herbs, fruits, coffee plants, and even edible flowers.

The menu items are seasonal, adding a fresh twist to the meal experience. Breakfast might feature dishes like a farm egg frittata made with local produce and coffee cherry flavored honey buns. During lunch, the farm serves a fresh catch of the day with Maui onions, and chicken drizzled with a coffee and allspice rub.

Passionate and Knowledgeable Staff

The team at O'o Farm includes dedicated and knowledgeable individuals, from tour guides to chefs. The chefs often come out to personally explain the dishes, enhancing the farm-to-table, five-course meal experience.

Location

O'o Farm is located in Upcountry Maui, approximately 25 miles northwest of the Haleakala National Park visitor center, off State Highway 377.

Hours

Tours are available from Monday to Friday. The coffee and brunch tour runs from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m., while the lunch tour starts at 10:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. Each tour lasts three hours. The farm advises visitors to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes for walking through the fields. Both tours include a meal and require advance reservations.

Tickets

Ticket prices for the coffee and brunch tour are $135 for adults and $67.50 for children aged 5 to 12. The lunch tour costs $150 for adults and $75 for children. For more information, visit O'o Farm's website.
